JADE PEACE - Citizen Science & Events 

Jade is the Citizen Science and Events coordinator for SBKN. She’s a passionate community organiser, she’s dedicated to science and she cares deeply for our wildlife, especially koalas! One of her strengths is bringing people together in collaborative spaces to learn, share and build knowledge.



Stephanie has a long track record of managing high profile projects and programs for the ABC, triple j, and SBS. After studying a Masters of Climate Change and volunteering as a wildlife rescuer and carer at WIRES, Stephanie now dedicates her time and energy to protecting wildlife and the precious habitats they live in. She also sits on the Sustainability Expert Advisory Panel for Waverley Council.


JEFF ANGEL - Executive Director, TEC

Jeff has forged alliances between countless factions in government, industry, business, and community, producing one constructive outcome for the environment after the other, since becoming involved in the campaign to protect the rainforests 40 years ago. He has campaigned on multiple urban and natural issues. He is also Convenor and Director of the Boomerang Alliance of 55 groups, which has won the container deposits campaign and is tackling marine plastic pollution.


Marijs Vrancken - Deputy Director, TEC

Marijs Vrancken is the Deputy Director of the Total Environment Centre. With a Master in Business Economics and a Master in Cultural Management, she is deeply passionate about using her business acumen to amplify campaigns battling environmental issues such as marine pollution, biodiversity protection and climate change. She has worked extensively with the community and with citizen scientists to increase the capacity of Total Environment Centre’s Projects.
